Dos and Don'ts

  • Foreign nationals are required to carry their passports with them at all times while in India.
  • You are requested to retain your encashment certificate while changing foreign exchange at your hotel or bank.
  • Due to security reasons, you are not allowed carry batteries in your hand luggage on flights. Please ensure to remove your batteries from your camera, calculators or any other gadgets.
  • You are not allowed to carry any hand luggage, expect for your passport as you are requested to pack everything into the luggage to be cargo.
